I am ready to start my coaching business, but I don’t currently have any courses created. Should I start my website?

It is never too early to start building your brand. It is important to establish yourself online. With Common Anomaly, your custom membership platform helps you establish your online presence and gives you a professional edge as you start to build your business. Even if you do not have all of your courses ready, our customizable model gives you the ability to grow at your own pace. Courses can be added or modified at any time in the process.

Am I able to use a custom domain for my Common Anomaly site?

The power of Common Anomaly is that we build everything custom for you. Not only can you connect your own unique domain name, we'll help you set it up. You must purchase a domain name independently, then we'll connect it to your brand new platform for you.

Can I pause or cancel my service?

You can cancel your plan at anytime, Your service will remain active until the end of your current billing cadence. If you choose to cancel, the platform and content will no longer be accessible. The best option is to pause your service by switch to our affordable holding fee of $19.95 per month. This keeps your site, courses, content, and CMS in tact, but just disables the access. Your site will still remain available for advertisement and informational purposes; giving you the ability to continue to attract clients to get your business moving forward fast.

What happens if I miss a payment on my service plan?

All service plans are paid monthly/yearly depending on your selected billing cadence via an automatic deduction from the credit card of your choice. In the event that a payment does not go through, you will receive a notification via email and the card will be tried again automatically. If the payment is still not approved your site will be disabled until the payment has been cleared, up to one month, at which point your account will be canceled.

Does Common Anomaly offer a demo period?

Due to the nature of our customized design, we do not offer a demo period. We want you to love your platform, and we will work with you to ensure it meets your needs.

Will my website be mobile-friendly?

Absolutely! All of our platforms include a responsive design and features for every size screen. Our development process is cutting edge, and constantly adopts the latest processes.

Can my website be developed in a language other than English or are their translation services built in?

At this time, Common Anomaly only supports English-speaking audiences. If you would like to include translation or develop in a language other than English, please reach out to our sales team by clicking here.

How is Common Anomaly different from other course and membership platforms?

Our unique proprietary model allows us to develop a platform that embodies your story and vision. You are not joining a cookie-cutter, discord-like server platform with thousands of other generic people, you are receiving your very own platform built specifically for you, a successful anomaly. It’s fully customizable, fully functional, and fully yours! Instead of utilizing templates or having to deal with "intuitive" editors, we do all the work, handing you a custom product - for the price they charge.

What types of content can I put into a course on Common Anomaly?

Our design is catered primarily to video content. You can link videos from anywhere (YouTube, Vimeo, Rumble, etc) to display directly on your website/platform. This allows you to curate your content and easily make content accessible for your clients. There are also resource libraries built directly into your platform that allows you to include downloadable content such as images, pdf, word docs, links, e-books, and more. The sky's the limit. We will never de-platform or remove your content.

Does Common Anomaly take a cut of my course sales?

No, we do not charge any transaction fees nor do we take a commission from your sales. We have creators earning through their sales, and they keep every penny they earn. We want to see you make a major impact in your business and for the students you help along the way! This is your platform, your vision, your course, and we're only here to support you.

Do you have a money back guarantee?

We create a platform that meets your needs. Nothing is published until you approve it. Once the initial setup is approved, you can add content or make edits at any time via our simple editor. We do offer a monthly billing cadence to give you the flexibility to cancel at any time if you are not satisfied.

What if I don’t have a large audience yet?

No problem. Whether you have no audience, or you are currently working with hundreds of clients, Common Anomaly is set up for every size of business. Our unique design will help you establish, cultivate and scale your business.

I’m considering switching to Common Anomaly from another platform. How do I do that?

Great to hear! If you already have members in place, we can easily migrate your current CMS to our platform. The process is the same, and we will make it easy. This is a slightly more complicated process, but not for you! Get in touch with us here and we'll do all the work at no additional cost.

I have expertise that I want to share with others, but I've never created an online course before. Where do I start?

You are not alone. It is simple to get started with Common Anomaly, even if you do not have a course created. You can establish your brand, get your information out, and then grow with your business. We're working on a unique course creation package that will give you a dedicated coach to help you from start to finish to launch your course quickly and easily. This will be shipping soon.

Can I offer certificates through my courses?

Yes! While not a feature that is baked into the platform, Common Anomaly works directly with you, let us know and we'll set this feature up for you.

Can I livestream or run live webinars through Common Anomaly?

We do not currently offer the native ability to host webinars or live streams through the platform; however, you can link to third-party platforms such as Zoom, Google Meets, etc. to include this functionality. If you need help setting this up or making it feel professional to your clients contact us here.

Does Common Anomaly offer an app for my platform?

At this time Common Anomaly does not offer app development. But your web app will be fully mobile responsive, so your students will be able to take your course on the go from any phone, tablet, or computer!

What if I need to refund a client for their membership fee?

You will have access to all of your client’s payments in the dashboard, which will allow you to make changes such as refunds quickly and easily.

I want to start a coaching business, but this is a new endeavor for me. I am just getting started.

Will I retain ownership over any content I publish on Common Anomaly?

Yes, your content will always be under your ownership. It is your responsibility to ensure you have personal copies of all content that you provide on the Common Anomaly platform. In the event that you cancel your subscription, your content will be removed from the platform, and Anomaly is not able to provide you with a copy.
